Clothe-A-Kid helps families obtain clothes for their kids. Participants earn clothing gift cards for a local store by graduating from the Life INC program. Participants must provide official documents providing guardianship of children ages 5 - 18. This is a year round program available during every Life INC session (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall).

Provides long-term care and short-term rehab. Long term care services include 24-our nursing services, palliative care, memory assist, complex care, dining services, continuum of care services, and rehabilitation services. Short-term rehab services include physical therapy, cardiac/neurological/orthopedic recovery and rehabilitation, injury and illness rehabilitation, post hospitalization care, pre-scheduled post surgery care, pulmonary rehabilitation, and complex would care with an outcome-focused approach.

Medical services that are offered include ear, nose, and throat, family medicine, internal medicine, interventional pain, pediatrics, podiatry, and rheumatology.

Keeping children safe by providing child safety seats at no cost to families that meet income eligibility requirements to ensure that they are in the best child seat for their height and weight until they are at least 4'9. At 4'9, most children can safely wear a seat belt. Current South Dakota law states that any operator of any passenger vehicle transporting a child under five years of age on the streets and highways of this state shall properly secure the child in a child passenger restraint system, and that the operator of a motor vehicle must make sure that a passenger who is at least five and younger than 18 must be wearing a properly adjusted and fastened safety seat belt system. If the belts don't fit properly, the operator must find another safety belt system to secure the child (SD Law 32-37). This program distributes child seats to income eligible parents and children statewide, by assessing financial need. The communities listed may have local distribution partners. Offering a wide variety of outpatient physical therapy services including: orthopedics, spine care, sports medicine, headaches, TMJ management, dry needling, post-surgical rehab, aquatic therapy, hand therapy, chronic pain, amputee rehab, women's health, pediatric physical therapy, accidents & injuries, kinesiotaping, custom orthotics, and vestibular rehabilitation. Also offers virtual sessions for those who are not able to make it into the clinic.

Must reach out to other non-profit organizations in town prior to reaching out. Provides limited emergency financial assistance as a last resort for those considered indigent and are residents of Brookings County. The office may assist if an individual is behind on rent or utilities, or needs prescription medications that insurance doesn't cover, emergency medical expenses, county burials and funerals. They also help with vision referrals to the Lions Club. Individuals must reside in Brookings County to be eligible for services. Assistance is not free, any assistance granted will be liened by Brookings County and will be required to pay back.

Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) is a supplemental food program that enables eligible households to obtain a more nutritious diet. Eligibility is determined by income, resources, and household size. Lost, stolen, or damaged EBT (SNAP) cards must call customer service to report the loss of your card. You will need to enter the card number. If you do not have the card, stay on the line for a second prompt and press 2. Reporting an EBT card as lost, stolen, or damaged will result in that card being declined.

Behavioral health services include outpatient individual, couples, and family counseling, psychological assessment and evaluations (non-court ordered), and case management.

A public health nutrition program for income-eligible infants and children up to age 5, pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women. WIC provides nutrition education to help make healthy eating choices, breastfeeding education for expectant and new mothers looking to learn more about their infant nutrition options, referrals to connect families with quality medical care and other community services, and food benefits to help families purchase nutritious groceries at participating businesses statewide.

ICAP Emergency Services helps with emergency utilities and rent (Rent assistance is NOT available to those residing in Sioux Falls) for income qualified households. Must meet all requirements. Also offers food pantry vouchers to those who qualify (cannot receive SNAP).

This emergency shelter is located in the fenced-in area beside the old jail in Pine Ridge. Individuals who are willing to be sober can stay in the military tents.

Provides Public Health Nursing and Maternal Child Healthcare Services through various programs. General public health services include professional nursing and nutrition information and guidance on health, safety, and nutrition for individuals, families, and communities. Services such as influenza vaccinations and screenings for blood pressure, hearing, vision, and hemoglobin are available at a fee. Maternal Child Healthcare provides Infant Sleep Safety services, immunizations, and pregnancy support services. Infant Sleep Safety services provide education on infant safe sleep practices and link families to resources when the purchase of a crib is a financial hardship. ​Immunizations services are available for children from birth through age 18 for all universally recommended vaccinations including influenza. The Vaccines for Children's Program provides vaccines for children who are uninsured, have insurance that does not cover vaccinations, are Medicaid eligible, or are Native American or Alaskan Native. For families with insurance coverage, the Department of Health is an in-network provider for Sanford, Avera/Dakotacare, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. ​Pregnancy Support Services include regular visits with a nurse to share information about pregnancy, to provide assistance in obtaining early and on-going prenatal care from a qualified healthcare provider, and to link women to resources they may need to support a healthy pregnancy. Teaching topics may include: how your body is changing and how your baby is growing; eating healthy and gaining the right amount of weight; warning signs or symptoms that indicate you should contact your doctor; breastfeeding education and support; and caring for you and your baby after delivery. The Watertown and Sisseton locations are also able to provide car seats for all ages at no cost.

NeSoDak - Located on a beautiful Glacial Lake, NeSoDak provides a safe place for youth to build relationships, develop new skills and live in a grace-filled community. NeSoDak specializes in summer youth programs, including 1-2-3 camps (two nights) for elementary youth, half-week and week-long camps for middle school through junior high youth, Servant Journey and adventures camps. Klein Ranch - Klein Ranch is a unique camp that offers youth the opportunity to begin to stretch their boundaries, and abilities, as they ride horses on 2,300 acres of Wild West ranch country. Campers can spend a week exploring the prairie on horseback and participating in other activities, such as hiking the mini badlands, having an overnight campout, playing games and more. Through the camp's small group community, youth strengthen their identity and gain depth in their faith. At Klein Ranch, youth also develop a sense of responsibility for themselves and for others as they care for the animals at the camp. Outlaw Ranch - Located amongst granite outcroppings in the southern Black Hills, Outlaw Ranch is open year round, offering summer youth camps, family camp, year round retreats for youth and adults, as well as hosting business gatherings and family reunions. Carroll Institute Project Awareness Prevention Program contracts with area school districts to provide evidence-based prevention programming in the classroom K-12th grade by counselors trained in working with adolescents with varying backgrounds in prevention, school counseling, and mental health counseling. Provides assessments and screening to students with referral services to appropriate levels of care. Diversion Program available for young adults ages 18-20 with no substance use diagnosis outside of tobacco use.
