Services provided include individual counseling; marriage counseling; divorce counseling; faith-based counseling; grief/bereavement counseling; cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT); adolescent/youth counseling; terminal illness counseling; parent counseling; domestic violence/spouse/intimate partner abuse counseling; child abuse survivor counseling for adults; internet counseling (telemental health); group counseling and also trained in sexual addiction and betrayal trauma.

Offers a free meal and fellowship to anyone who attend. Churches, Community Groups, Service Clubs, and School Groups are welcome to volunteer to provide, prepare, and serve those who come to eat. The United Church of Christ (Congregational) supports the organization by hosting a community meal every week.

The Child Advocacy Center provides expert forensic interviews and medical examinations of children who are alleged victims of sexual and/or physical abuse or witnesses to violence. This program is housed with the Children's Home Society. The primary goal of the Child Advocacy Center is to reduce a child's trauma by eliminating repeated interviews and medical examinations by multiple investigative parties. The Center provides one coordinated interview and a physical exam, and provides superior evidence in child abuse investigations. The interview process may be observed on closed-circuit television by the referring social worker and law enforcement officer. The Child Advocacy Center also provides comprehensive training in Understanding Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) , Enough Abuse Campaign, Trauma Informed Care/Response, Mandatory Reporting/handling child abuse disclosures, and Multidisciplinary Child Abuse Investigations. Trainings are open to the entire state and are detailed to the requesting audience. Trainings, based on topics, are appropriate for caregivers, system professionals, and community members. CHS partners with the Center of Prevention of Child Maltreatment and state agencies to host, support, and provide trainer support in the ACEs and EnoughAbuse curriculums.

Individuals MUST go to one of the monthly distributions to receive services. Monthly distribution of household products (specifically diapers, laundry soap, toilet paper, and feminine hygiene products). Individuals/families can visit one of the following distribution locations, only once per month. This program does not offer deliveries.

A Family Medicine clinic, providing medical services to patients in Huron and the surrounding area. Services include: vaccinations and flu shots, adult and childhood immunizations, family medicine; routine physicals: annual, school, pre-employment, work, and DOT certified exams; allergy and immunization: therapeutic injections, and allergy shot administration; women's health: pap tests, breast screening, contraception, and STI/STD testing; screening: in-house laboratory testing, bone density, cancer, diabetes, cholesterol, drug, alcohol, vision, and hearing; cardio health: EKG and blood pressure screening; pulmonary health: nebulizer treatments, pulmonary function testing; diabetes: screening, education, diet information, weight management, and medication management; minor surgery: mole/lesion removal, laceration repair, skin tag removal, wart removal, and liquid nitrogen treatment, joint injections and aspirations, cortisone injections and fluid removal, skin cancer screening, and imaging: x-rays, ultrasound, and bone density testing.

Mental Health services include individual, couples and family counseling, 24-hour QMHP services, psychiatric evaluations and medication management, school consultations, and employee assistance programs (EAP). Alcohol and Drug Program treatment approach is based on the 12-step program of Alcoholics Anonymous and reality therapy. Services offered include individual counseling, chemical assessments, DUI education program, outpatient treatment, prevention education program, and a relapse prevention group. Case Management and IMPACT Programs, designed to help clients with severe and persistent mental illness, services include case management and continued care, medication management with psychiatrist, crisis intervention assistance, and psychiatric rehabilitation which seeks to provide program services that assist clients in developing skills and manage resources needed to allow them to be successful in the community. A client centered, client directed form of treatment, the program consists of services designed to restore the disabled person to a level of functioning which permits a useful, meaningful life.

Pharmacy Services include prescription refills and transfers, immunizations, Medicare Part D counseling, and compounding. Also sells OTC medications, vitamins and supplements, hygiene and grooming supplies, and provides wellness classes. Customers can also download the PocketRx mobile app in which it will help them set medication reminders and request to refill medications 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

Medical assistance programs include: ​Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP): Coverage includes such things as doctor, hospital, prescription drugs, counseling, dental and glasses. Insurance for children up to age 19 at no cost to the family if the income is below certain income levels found on the Federal Poverty Guidelines. If the family income is below 140%, the children may be eligible with or without private health insurance. If there is insurance, CHIP will pay the deductibles, co-insurance, and possibly some medical services not covered by the private insurance. ​Medicaid: Health care coverage for people who qualify. To be eligible for Medicaid, individuals must fall into a coverage group and meet certain financial and non-financial eligibility criteria. Provides help for older adults and people with disabilities.

Offers full-day, structured care that incorporates goal-centered, therapeutic programming. Uniquely Yours will open on non-school days, early release days, and select holidays to ensure children have a safe, supportive environment to go to.

Offering a wide variety of outpatient physical therapy services including: orthopedics, spine care, sports medicine, headaches, TMJ management, dry needling, post-surgical rehab, aquatic therapy, hand therapy, chronic pain, amputee rehab, women's health, pediatric physical therapy, accidents & injuries, kinesiotaping, custom orthotics, and vestibular rehabilitation. Also offers virtual sessions for those who are not able to make it into the clinic.

The Extended Care and Rehab Service Line includes the following services: Caregiver support group, spinal cord injury / disorder program, full suite of therapies, chiropractic care, integrative health services, adaptive sports, low vision and visually impaired services, inpatient community living center, pain management, whole health services, community living center, hospice/palliative Care, polytrauma/traumatic brain injury (TBI), geriatrics & extended care (GEC), medical foster home, and home health care.

Services provided by this office are a last resort. If eligibility criteria are met, assistance may include burial assistance, medical expense assistance, utility assistance, and rent assistance.

Providing one week of supplemental food, based on household size, to people in Clay County. It is a client-choice food pantry in which guests can choose food for themselves and their families to fit their health and nutrition needs. Residents can visit the food pantry one time a month. The Vermillion Food Pantry is part of The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP).

The Adolescent Addiction Recovery Unit provide inpatient and outpatient addiction recovery care for youth ages 12 to 17. Services include 24-Hour supervision, residential treatment, intensive counseling, and educational support.

Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) is a supplemental food program that enables eligible households to obtain a more nutritious diet. Eligibility is determined by income, resources, and household size. Lost, stolen, or damaged EBT (SNAP) cards must call customer service to report the loss of your card. You will need to enter the card number. If you do not have the card, stay on the line for a second prompt and press 2. Reporting an EBT card as lost, stolen, or damaged will result in that card being declined.

Pharmacy services include immunizations, prescription refills, health screenings, and a medication disposal drop box. - Medication disposal drop-boxes for expired, unused or unwanted controlled, non-controlled, and over the counter medications, including pet medications. Items that are NOT accepted include: trash, regulated medical waste, sharps, syringes, thermometers, hazardous waste, aerosols, illicit drugs, or commercial waste.

Confidential birth control services including birth control pills and injections (donations only or sliding scale charge). Physical exams, pap-tests, exams/testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (male and female patients including teens), information about all forms of birth control, infertility information and referral, pregnancy diagnosis and referrals.
