A public health nutrition program for income-eligible infants and children up to age 5, pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women. WIC provides nutrition education to help make healthy eating choices, breastfeeding education for expectant and new mothers looking to learn more about their infant nutrition options, referrals to connect families with quality medical care and other community services, and food benefits to help families purchase nutritious groceries at participating businesses statewide.

K-5 (Kindergarten through 5th Grade) provides care and programming outside of classroom hours in several locations in Sioux Falls, Brandon and Harrisburg. Activities are designed to meet each age level's academic, social and emotional needs. Signature programs offer additional options for character and leadership, health and wellness, sports and recreation and Education/STEM/Arts focus. Scholarships are available for families in need.

Medical assistance programs include: ​Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP): Coverage includes such things as doctor, hospital, prescription drugs, counseling, dental and glasses. Insurance for children up to age 19 at no cost to the family if the income is below certain income levels found on the Federal Poverty Guidelines. If the family income is below 140%, the children may be eligible with or without private health insurance. If there is insurance, CHIP will pay the deductibles, co-insurance, and possibly some medical services not covered by the private insurance. ​Medicaid: Health care coverage for people who qualify. To be eligible for Medicaid, individuals must fall into a coverage group and meet certain financial and non-financial eligibility criteria. Provides help for older adults and people with disabilities.

Offers clothing, shoes, coats and household items. Supports the Belle Fourche Senior Center.

A private, non-profit, community-based human services agency service. Therapists, counselors, and case managers provide: Individual and family counseling (e.g., marriage counseling, parenting skills, trauma informed services, EMDR, depression, anxiety, PTSD, anger management, coping skill development, etc) Addiction and dependency services Evaluations and assessments Social learning programs Systems of Care Prevention services, providing presentations to student and adult groups on a large number of topics and consists of a library that contains over 1,000 items available for check out at the main Lemmon office Offering services via telehealth. A county wide service owned and operated by the City of Flandreau. It offers Emergency Medical Services provides a 24-hour Advanced Life Support Ambulance for all City of Flandreau residents and visitors to the City. Provides stand-by services for fires, athletic events, and other community functions. The ambulance team can also provide CPR/First Aid Training, car seat checks, and other community education.

Provides emergency assistance for those in either Minnehaha/Lincoln County with rent and deposits, Utility bills: Must have a disconnect notice for water, lights, or heating; Food and non-food items, Burial: Clients should begin by choosing a funeral home and meet with them prior to applying for assistance through Minnehaha County. Also provides transportation assistance, dental care, medical care (hospitalization) and Medications. Minnehaha County residents can also receive assistance with Shelter, Gasoline or bus ticket for transients/nonresidents stranded here and needing to get home. Out of town travel assistance is not offered to MC residents. Identification and or birth certificate (if needed for the purposes of obtaining employment/housing). The majority of assistance provided is in the form of a no-interest loan for which a lien is created. The client does not receive any bill from County but is expected to repay the debt, starting in a time frame created by the caseworker. Applicants can choose to walk-in to the office or receive a phone call to complete an interview. Those applying for transportation, medications or ID/BC assistance should come into the office to apply.

Pharmacy services include immunizations, prescription refills, health screenings, and a medication disposal drop box. - Medication disposal drop-boxes for expired, unused or unwanted controlled, non-controlled, and over the counter medications, including pet medications. Items that are NOT accepted include: trash, regulated medical waste, sharps, syringes, thermometers, hazardous waste, aerosols, illicit drugs, or commercial waste.

Clinic locations offer family care to Sioux Falls and the surrounding area. Provides a variety of services for family and primary care (including flu shots) as well as prenatal care and OB/GYN. Other health services include yearly checkups, treatment of minor illnesses, and management of chronic conditions.

Bone Marrow Transplant Support Group - For individuals that have gone through or may be undergoing a transplant. Cancer Caregiver Support Program - Open to all caregivers who care for loved one with any type of cancer diagnosis. Cooperative Parenting and Divorce - Parents can learn the skills necessary to minimize difficulties for their children as their roles change from spouses to co-parents. The group is for divorcing parents who have children. Cost is $130.00 for 8 week course or (2) 4 week courses; includes the cost of workbook. Diabetes Support Group - Covers topics and support related to diabetes. Open to the patient and their family/significant other Infant Loss Support Group - 6 week series support group for families who are grieving the death of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death. Childbirth (in person or online class), caring for a newborn, breastfeeding, multiple blessings classes Weight Loss Support Group - For people who have had any weight loss procedure or are considering one (both online and in person)

Provides housing rental assistance to low-income families, seniors and disabled individuals as well as security deposit assistance.

Services include: individual counseling, youth counseling, parent counseling, LGBTQ+ counseling, gender identity counseling, grief/bereavement counseling, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement and desensitization reprocessing therapy (EMDR), brain spotting and internal family systems, and telemental health counseling. Areas of focus include teenagers, adults, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, impulsivity, self harm, personality disorders, life transitions, relationship concerns, coping skills, and stress.

Individuals, couples, and family counseling for children, adolescent, and adults. Counseling to help those who suffer from depression, anxiety, self-harm, post traumatic stress (PTSD), trauma, suicidal thoughts, grief and loss, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and other issues. Provides assisted animal therapy, play therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Works closely with the LGBTQI population. Also offering services via telehealth.

This is a tenant-based voucher program for persons or families who are homeless and have struggled with chronic homelessness and suffer from severe and persistent mental health issues. It allows qualified individuals/families to receive rental assistance in the unit of their choice as long as it meets HUD's Housing Quality Standards. The assistance travels with the tenant and can be transferred anywhere within the city limits of Sioux Falls. The client must agree to participate in case management.

Provides a nutritious and kid-friendly package of food to children 18 years old or younger in need over the weekends during the summer months. Families may receive one backpack per child once a week. Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) is a supplemental food program that enables eligible households to obtain a more nutritious diet. Eligibility is determined by income, resources, and household size. Lost, stolen, or damaged EBT (SNAP) cards must call customer service to report the loss of your card. You will need to enter the card number. If you do not have the card, stay on the line for a second prompt and press 2. Reporting an EBT card as lost, stolen, or damaged will result in that card being declined.

American's with Disabilities Act: Serves as educators and consultants for contractors, businesses, organizations, and individuals regarding the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and its guidelines and requirements. Assistive Daily Living Services: Provides services for people ages 18 and older, with physical disabilities affecting all four limbs, who need assistance with daily living activities. Services include program education and support and personal attendant services. Home Again South Dakota: Provides options for older adults and/or people with disabilities living in nursing homes, hospitals, or long-term care facilities to enable them to successfully return to their homes and communities. Helps individuals identify barriers to living on their own, helps them find a place to live that meets their needs, and helps them find the services and supports they need to continue living independently.
