A youth organization that provides a safe place for kids to go after school and during the summer on week days. Members participate in a variety of activities such as homework help/tutoring, organized sports programs, Youth for Unity, Teen Center, and guided activities on character and leadership, education and career skills, and healthy living/active lifestyles. Snacks are provided.

Maternal Child Healthcare provides Infant Sleep Safety services, immunizations, and pregnancy support services. Infant Sleep Safety services provide education on infant safe sleep practices and link families to resources when the purchase of a crib is a financial hardship. ​Immunizations services are available for children from birth through age 18 for all universally recommended vaccinations including influenza. The Vaccines for Children's Program provides vaccines for children who are uninsured, have insurance that does not cover vaccinations, are Medicaid eligible, or are Native American or Alaskan Native. For families with insurance coverage, the Department of Health is an in-network provider for Sanford, Avera/Dakotacare, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. ​Pregnancy Support Services include regular visits with a nurse to share information about pregnancy, to provide assistance in obtaining early and on-going prenatal care from a qualified healthcare provider, and to link women to resources they may need to support a healthy pregnancy. Teaching topics may include: how your body is changing and how your baby is growing; eating healthy and gaining the right amount of weight; warning signs or symptoms that indicate you should contact your doctor; breastfeeding education and support; and caring for you and your baby after delivery. The Watertown and Sisseton locations are also able to provide car seats for all ages at no cost.

Mobile food pantry that may be utilized once a month by families and/or individuals. There are no referrals required to receive this service. Individuals MUST enter the church and bring a valid form of ID. This program does not do delivery and is not an emergency food option.

Investigates child abuse and neglect cases by working with the State's Attorney, law enforcement, and community resources to determine extent of alleged child abuse or neglect. Other services include adoptions, licensing of foster homes, assessment services, case management, and intensive family services. Individual, couples, children and family counseling using the approach of positive psychology along with specialized training and certification in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for the treatment of depression, anxiety (GAD, panic, phobias, social-anxiety, etc.), bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive related (OCD, hoarding, etc.), trauma related (PTSD, P/S/E abuse, traumatic death, etc.), anger & impulse control, & personality disorders (borderline, narcissistic, antisocial, etc.). Also offering telehealth services.

Pharmacy services include immunizations, prescription refills, health screenings, and a medication disposal drop box. - Medication disposal drop-boxes for expired, unused or unwanted controlled, non-controlled, and over the counter medications, including pet medications. Items that are NOT accepted include: trash, regulated medical waste, sharps, syringes, thermometers, hazardous waste, aerosols, illicit drugs, or commercial waste.

The Care Center is the hub of many resources at the Center of Hope. Services provided include computers and phone/fax which guests can use, at no charge, for resume and employment/job searching. ​Pastoral care is available for individuals to receive one on one counseling with the pastoral team, including getting connected with the Earn-Your-Way program. Individual, couples, and family therapy for the treatment of various adjustment problems and psychological disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. Special areas of expertise include: pain management, stress management, complicated grief and loss, spirituality issues, parenting adult children, chronic illness, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, parent education, abuse, eating disorders, marital infidelity issues, substance abuse issues, immigration adjustment concerns, and culturally relevant services. Therapeutic methods used include: acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), emotionally focused couples therapy (EFT), and psychodynamic therapy. Telehealth available for all sessions. May request sessions via telehealth, in-person or a combination. Will teach new clients how to use telehealth services.

Huron Regional Medical Center Home Health uses a combined team approach including physicians, registered nurses, nurse aides, physical, occupational and speech therapists, and social workers. Services provided may include medication monitoring and organization, education on recently diagnosed illness or medical condition, wound care, catheter care and irrigation, pain management through medication or comfort methods, physical, speech and occupational therapy, communication and daily living tasks, and assistance with personal care.

Located in the offices of Sioux Falls Psychological Services, the Community Counseling Clinic provides therapy to families, couples, and individuals with limited or no funds. Under the supervision of credentialed doctoral level faculty, master's degree students provide quality therapy to families, couples and individuals in a safe and confidential environment. No one is turned away due to a lack of ability to pay. Help for those experiencing a variety of problems, including loneliness and isolation, anxiety and depression, trauma, abuse, betrayal, anger and conflict, grief and loss, communication issues, family or lifestyle transitions, parenting difficulties, behavioral changes, relationship challenges, medical challenges, spiritual or identity issues, separation, divorce, remarriage, and marital affairs.

Auditor services include:

• The Auditor is the keeper of County records and acts as a bookkeeper of County business. The Auditor is responsible for County Commissioner meetings including scheduling, agenda, business follow-up, Preparing the County's budget, Audit bills or other claims against the County and prepare the warrants in payment of these bills, Figuring the mil levy, and Head election officer of the County.

• Provides both economic and medical assistance to residents of Beadle County on a one time basis. Economic assistance is for current amounts only. No payment for deposits of any kind. Rent, Utility assistance for current bills may be available for water, lights, and heating, and Medical, hospitalization, and burial assistance requires pre-approval if not for emergency services.

All other resources must have been exhausted first. Assistance does require payback and county lien is filed until paid in full. Planning & Zoning services include:

• Takes applications for building permits, administers the County zoning ordinances and makes recommendations to the Commission for granting or denying the permits. Assist with educational programs, Investigate complaints and zoning violation, Modify county ordinances, Prepare annual department budget and public meeting agendas, Property rezoning and platting, Review concentrated animal feeding operations, and Site plan reviews.

Update County Commission and Planning and Zoning Commission on current activities, trends, changes in law, and policies. -

Provides a nutritious and kid-friendly package of food to children 18 years old or younger in need over the weekends during the summer months. Families may receive one backpack per child once a week. Gently used items for sale at bargain prices available to anyone. Clothing and household vouchers available for low income families through the Salvation Army Social Services Center.
