Helps families with temporary relief care for children or adults with special needs. The child or adult must live with a parent or family member and meet one of the eligibility categories below. There is no income limit. An adult or child eligible for family support waiver services is not eligible for respite services. Eligibility Categories include: Developmental disability (child or adult); Developmental delay (birth to age 3); Serious emotional disturbance (child); Severe and persistent mental illness (adult); Chronic medical condition (child); Traumatic brain injury (child or adult); Adopted Child (with or without a disability).

Assistive Daily Living Services: Provides services for people ages 18 and older, with physical disabilities affecting all four limbs, who need assistance with daily living activities. Services include program education and support and personal attendant services. Home Again South Dakota: Provides options for older adults and/or people with disabilities living in nursing homes, hospitals, or long-term care facilities to enable them to successfully return to their homes and communities. Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute (CKRI) is part of Allina Health. Provides a continuum of rehabilitation services for people with short- and long-term conditions, injuries, and disabilities. Family Support 360 (FS 360) helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families get the services they need to live in their own home and community as independently as possible. FS 360 is self-directed, which allows the person or their guardian to choose their staff and schedule based on their needs.
