Sanford Children's Parenting Services offers a variety of services and resources to get answers to everyday parenting questions. Services are geared toward enhancing the development, health, and safety of children in eastern South Dakota. Provides empowerment to families, caregivers, and people who directly impact the lives of children. Also provides parenting resources through New Baby in Home services, Getting to Know Baby Better resources, and parent navigation to support parents on the parenting journey.

A community food distribution held on Tuesday mornings at the Kiwanis 4-H Ice Center. ​Groceries are available and varies from week to week.

An intensive, outpatient, 12-step recovery-based center for alcohol and drugs. Services are provided by certified chemical dependency counselors including assessments - by appointment, walk-in or virtual, day and evening treatment programs, adolescent programs, 12 hour DUI class, Intensive Methamphetamine Treatment (IMT) offered with state approval only, and a Recovery Maintenance Group. This office is located close to the SAM (Sioux Area Metro) Orange bus route.

Provides drug and alcohol treatment for adolescents ages 13 - 17 years of age who are enrolled as a member of a federally recognized Tribe or able to show the lineal descendancy. It is a rolling admission and can be anywhere from 90 - 120 days.

Partners with Main Gate Counseling to provide support to those who are suffering from a loved one's addiction. Offers peer and youth support for those suffering from a loved one's addiction or children that need counseling.

Christ centered 12-step recovery focused on finding freedom from any hurt, hang-up, or habit through a strengthened relationship with Jesus Christ. Also, able to provide childcare during the meeting.

Investigates child abuse and neglect cases by working with the State's Attorney, law enforcement, and community resources to determine extent of alleged child abuse or neglect. Other services include adoptions, licensing of foster homes, assessment services, case management, and intensive family services. An ambulatory care center with outpatient services. Services include dental care, mental health services, public health nurse, environmental health care, optometry, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy (Prescription Assistance - Enrolled members of a Native American tribe can get free prescriptions by visiting their local IHS), podiatry, HIV Clinic, SANE services, and Fitness Center.

Recycles donated clothing, furniture, household goods, books, and other items by offering them for purchase. Proceeds benefit the community by offering individuals with barriers work training and employment opportunities.

Sioux Falls has three skate parks: Drake Springs Skate Park, Kuehn Park, and Barb Iverson Skate Plaza. Only skateboards, inline skates, and BMX bikes allowed. No other wheeled devices of any kind are allowed within the skate park. Availability of skate parks in the future may be dependent on patrons' compliance with the following: Skate at your own risk as parks are not supervised and users assume all risks inherent in the use of these facilities. Use of these facilities may result in serious injury or death. It is strongly recommended that users wear an approved helmet, knee and elbow pads, and wrist guards. Food and drink are not allowed inside the rink or skate park areas. Glass, alcohol, and smoking are prohibited. No stickers, loud music, inappropriate language/actions, or reckless behavior allowed.

The Child Care Helpline identifies child care providers for all families, including people with non-traditional work schedules and parents of children with special needs. ICAP Emergency Services helps with emergency utilities and rent (Rent assistance is NOT available to those residing in Sioux Falls) for income qualified households. Must meet all requirements. Also offers food pantry vouchers to those who qualify (cannot receive SNAP).

Provide medication management and supportive therapy to children (ages 10 and up), adolescents, and adults. Offers counseling the following: individual counseling, adolescent psychiatry, medication management, LGBTQ counseling, mental health screening, adult psychiatry, adolescent/youth counseling, gender identity counseling, and parent counseling.
