Provides inpatient mental health care to adolescents and adults who are experiencing acute psychiatric distress and require assessment and short term inpatient intervention with services including psychiatric evaluation and stabilization, therapy services, spiritual services, dietary consultation, and Chemical Dependency Consultation.

CSFP program (Commodities): Provides healthy food once a month to low income elderly. A 25-28 lb. box of healthy food and 2-lbs of cheese available once a month. TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program): Provides emergency food assistance at no cost. The only requirement for TEFAP recipients is self-declaration that they fall within the TEFAP income eligibility guidelines. Food Pantry - client choice pantry: Available to those with a gross household income no more than 185% of poverty level. Participants can shop once a month. Quantity of food is based on the size of household. Mitchell Food Pantry is an equal opportunity provider.

Services include annual physicals, immunizations, medication management, transitional care management, joint injections, lesion/wart removal, splinting/casting, and Behavioral Health appointments via telehealth. Same Day Appointments are available during regular business hours Monday to Friday as well as Urgent Care appointments on Saturdays.

Veterans Stand Down event provides education and information about Veteran services and benefits to Veterans and their families in the West River region. The event also includes haircuts, clothing, hygiene products, employment services, legal assistance, housing referrals, eye screening/reading glasses, readjustment counseling. A free meal is served at all locations.

A 12-week support group for single/unmarried women with unplanned pregnancies. A baby shower is given at the end of each session.

The Care Center is the hub of many resources at the Center of Hope. Services provided include computers and phone/fax - Guests can use, at no charge, for resume and employment/job searching; and Pastoral Care - Individuals can receive one on one counseling with the pastoral team, including getting connected with the Earn-Your-Way program. Court approved divorce and custody mediator, parent coordinator, and custody evaluator. Individual, couples, and family counseling with expertise in blended families, marriage, family counseling, play therapy, trauma, child abuse, post traumatic stress (PTSD), and sexual assault.

Investigates child abuse and neglect cases by working with the State's Attorney, law enforcement, and community resources to determine extent of alleged child abuse or neglect. Other services include adoptions, licensing of foster homes, assessment services, case management, and intensive family services. Individual, couples, children and family counseling using the approach of positive psychology along with specialized training and certification in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for the treatment of depression, anxiety (GAD, panic, phobias, social-anxiety, etc.), bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive related (OCD, hoarding, etc.), trauma related (PTSD, P/S/E abuse, traumatic death, etc.), anger & impulse control, & personality disorders (borderline, narcissistic, antisocial, etc.). Also offering telehealth services.

Services provided include prescription pick-up (these are delivered from Freeman daily), diabetes education and support, durable medical equipment (i.e. canes and walkers, bathroom equipment, orthopedic supplies, nebulizers, etc.), immunizations, long-term pharmacy, Medicare open enrollment, and a medication disposal site. Accepts UPS drop off packages for free. Customers can use the My Community Pharmacy to refill medications, set medication reminders, and track refill status.

They do this in many ways, and all services are driven by each person's own goals, dreams, and needs. Some areas of focus are accessing their community which may include volunteering or attending activities and events in the community; recreational and leisure activities such as swimming, bowling, spending time at local parks, movies, or eating out; meaningful relationships; maintaining or leaning new skills; and self advocacy.

Telecommunication Adaptive Devices: Provides adapted telecommunication services, which includes an emergency phone dialer. American's with Disabilities Act: Serves as educators and consultants for contractors, businesses, organizations, and individuals regarding the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and its guidelines and requirements. Assistive Daily Living Services: Provides services for people ages 18 and older, with physical disabilities affecting all four limbs, who need assistance with daily living activities. Services include program education and support and personal attendant services. The SSVF program provides homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing services to help Veteran families keep, or rapidly transition to permanent housing. For veterans and their families that meet all eligibility criteria and are enrolled with the program, the program can provide: Outreach to Veterans Case management

Utility assistance for water, lights, and heating for current, past due, disconnection notices, previous address, and deposits Rental assistance Security deposits

Offers crisis/sooner access mental health therapy sessions for patients experiencing increased mental health needs. Sessions often can be scheduled same-day or within 3 business days. Patient meets with mental health therapist for a 30-45 minute brief crisis session: processing stressors, support systems, coping mechanisms, providing brief therapeutic interventions. Goal is to meet patients in their time of need and assist with re-regulation of emotional state and assisting with ensuring ongoing follow-up care (if needed).

Assessments and therapy offered for individual, family, and group counseling. Specialties include mental health screenings, divorce, grief, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adolescent/youth, terminal illness, LGBTQ/gender identity, parenting, hoarding, spouse/intimate partner abuse, adult survivors of child abuse. Inpatient treatment with units dedicated for children, adolescents, adults and seniors with acute psychiatry needs. A treatment team, headed by a psychiatrist, works to evaluate current symptoms and develop a positive treatment plan to address concerns. Treatment services include, but are not limited to depression, anxiety, addictive disorders, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and schizophrenia.
