Children's Connection works with the Sioux Falls School District to provide group counseling services to children with an incarcerated loved one. Family Connection, through the Children's Connection program, is working to break the generational cycle of incarceration. The program involves group counseling and other appropriate services with an emphasis on providing support, education and other positive coping skills. The goal is to provide a safe place for children to talk and know they are not alone.

Individual and couples mental health and chemical dependency counseling to children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of issues including, but not limited to; depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), physical and or sexual abuse, trauma, chemical dependency and other addictions, co-occurring disorders, family issues, behavioral issues, relationship issues, sexual identity, adjustment disorders, career issues, adoption issues, attachment issues, personality disorders, stress management, women's issues, eating disorders, post traumatic stress (PTSD), and crisis prevention. Offers EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Telehealth sessions available. Also an LGBTQ+ friendly provider.

ICAP Housing Services provides the following programs: Rapid Rehousing and Homeless Prevention Programs: aims to help two specific groups - persons who are at great risk of homelessness and those who have become homeless. Services that can be provided include case management, security deposit and rent assistance. These services are aimed at helping participants to retain their housing, therefore avoiding homelessness, or to re-enter appropriate permanent housing as quickly as possible. Housing Repair / Rehabilitation: Provides a zero-interest, five-year decreasing balance loan for eligible homeowners to be used for accessibility modifications for persons with disabilities, in addition to making necessary repairs for health, safety and code compliance. Self-Help Housing Rehabilitation: Eligible participants will work with program staff to identify their specific needs and to create a work plan. The Program Coordinator will find the best funding sources available to the homeowners and assist them throughout the process. Weatherization and Furnace Replacement Program: Aimed at making housing for low-income persons more energy-efficient and less costly for the residents. The residence is audited and a list of needs is developed. The program provides the materials and pays contractors for the labor to weatherize the home (caulk cracks, insulate, weather-strip, fix windows, etc.). Furnaces can be repaired or replaced, if not repairable, through the program. In addition, some inefficient/high-cost non-operating appliances (range / refrigerator / water heater) can also be replaced in certain circumstances. Homeless Rent and Deposit: Helping homeless households get into housing. Must provide steady and reliable source of income. Applicant must agree to case management services.

Offers the following programs: ​ Meals on Wheels Participants can also request delivery, pick-up, or are welcome to dine in. Need to call by 9:00am that day to register for either pick up or dine in. Feeding South Dakota Senior Box Program: Pick-up Site Participants must be 60 or older and meet income guidelines - a household income at or below 150-percent of the federal poverty income guidelines published annually by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). General public health services include professional nursing and nutrition information and guidance on health, safety, and nutrition for individuals, families, and communities. Services such as influenza vaccinations and screenings for blood pressure, hearing, vision, and hemoglobin are available at a fee. Maternal Child Healthcare provides Infant Sleep Safety services, immunizations, and pregnancy support services. Infant Sleep Safety services provide education on infant safe sleep practices and link families to resources when the purchase of a crib is a financial hardship. ​Immunizations services are available for children from birth through age 18 for all universally recommended vaccinations including influenza. The Vaccines for Children's Program provides vaccines for children who are uninsured, have insurance that does not cover vaccinations, are Medicaid eligible, or are Native American or Alaskan Native. For families with insurance coverage, the Department of Health is an in-network provider for Sanford, Avera/Dakotacare, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. ​Pregnancy Support Services include regular visits with a nurse to share information about pregnancy, to provide assistance in obtaining early and on-going prenatal care from a qualified healthcare provider, and to link women to resources they may need to support a healthy pregnancy. Teaching topics may include: how your body is changing and how your baby is growing; eating healthy and gaining the right amount of weight; warning signs or symptoms that indicate you should contact your doctor; breastfeeding education and support; and caring for you and your baby after delivery. The Watertown and Sisseton locations are also able to provide car seats for all ages at no cost.

Medical assistance programs include: ​Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP): Coverage includes such things as doctor, hospital, prescription drugs, counseling, dental and glasses. Insurance for children up to age 19 at no cost to the family if the income is below certain income levels found on the Federal Poverty Guidelines. If the family income is below 140%, the children may be eligible with or without private health insurance. If there is insurance, CHIP will pay the deductibles, co-insurance, and possibly some medical services not covered by the private insurance. ​Medicaid: Health care coverage for people who qualify. To be eligible for Medicaid, individuals must fall into a coverage group and meet certain financial and non-financial eligibility criteria. Provides help for older adults and people with disabilities.

Individual, marital, and family counseling across the lifespan. Experience in attention deficit / hyperactivity disorder (ADD/ADHD), Asperger's syndrome, depression, anxiety, divorce adjustment, spiritual issues, blended families, affairs, abuse, past abuse, and pre-marital counseling. Also offers grief therapy and trauma focused therapy.

Provides full-service therapy directly to clients but also contracts with schools, medical clinics, government and other entities to actively work together on the same goals. Provides therapy in a natural setting where the child is most comfortable with a family-centered collaborative approach. This can be in the child's home, a clinical or daycare setting, or via teletherapy. Offers a wide range of services including: speech therapy, occupational therapy, orofacial myofunctional therapy, dyslexia tutoring, executive function ADHD training, autism communication therapy, social skills, telespeech therapy, feeding therapy (SOS), sensory motor oral behavioral/learning therapy, visual-motor therapy, fine motor skills, coordination therapy, stuttering therapy, articulation training, pediatric/child therapy, parent education, and attention deficit disorder-executive functioning therapy.

Provides a wide range of services and support including residential, work and specialized services. Also provides individualized service facilitation to those served. Retail pharmacy and a medication disposal site. Services provided are immunizations, medical equipment/supplies, smoking cessation, and pain management. Also sells OTC medications.

Provides food, gas, and lodging assistance to those in need. Additional assistance is offered for utilities and some rent.

Pharmacy services include immunizations, prescription refills, health screenings, and a medication disposal drop box. - Medication disposal drop-boxes for expired, unused or unwanted controlled, non-controlled, and over the counter medications, including pet medications. Items that are NOT accepted include: trash, regulated medical waste, sharps, syringes, thermometers, hazardous waste, aerosols, illicit drugs, or commercial waste.

Benet Place features 38 apartments across 3 floors. Residents can enjoy a wide variety of amenities such as dining options, social and spiritual activities, transportation, fitness and wellness programs, therapy services, salon services, and access to additional on-site services if needed.

Provides car seat installation and safety checks at any Sioux Falls Fire Station from 8:00am - 8:00pm (CT), Monday - Sunday. ​Individuals are encouraged to call 211 to register before arriving at a fire station.

Founded on the belief that everyone deserves a home. Pathways offers four different shelter programs:

• Emergency Shelter for Families:

8 rooms designated for households with children. Families will receive 30 days for free in a 12-month period. After 30 days, rent will be charged for extended stay.

• Tier 2 Services:

2 rooms designated for men and women seeking a more permanent residence and access to more services. To qualify for this program, individuals must be employed or be able to pay rent at the start. Total of 4 beds for women and 4 beds for men.

• Re-Entry Program:

Partnership with South Dakota Department of Corrections; provides 8 beds for men who are needing to re-enter the community. These individuals must follow the same guidelines for admission as other clients. Young Adult Transition Program: Provides transitional living and case management for young adults 18 to 24 years old who are experiencing homelessness. 4 beds are available for this purpose and can help people within the age range struggling in the community. Contact Staff for more details. Through the Emergency Solutions Grant, Pathways offers two programs:

• Homeless Prevention

For individuals and families who are unable to pay their rent or utilities and will otherwise be displaced from their residence. Call staff to learn more about eligibility requirements.

• Rapid Re-housing

For individuals who have found potential housing but may not yet have the funds to secure that housing. For those who are eligible, Pathways may be able to pay first month's rent, rental deposit and utility deposit. Call staff to learn more about eligibility requirements. Funding through the Security Deposit Assistance Program allows Pathways to operate a program solely to assist with security deposits.

A public health nutrition program for income-eligible infants and children up to age 5, pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women. WIC provides nutrition education to help make healthy eating choices, breastfeeding education for expectant and new mothers looking to learn more about their infant nutrition options, referrals to connect families with quality medical care and other community services, and food benefits to help families purchase nutritious groceries at participating businesses statewide.

Connects people to safe and confidential services related to preventing pregnancy, achieving pregnancy, and assisting to achieve the desired number of children. Also offers STI screening, pregnancy testing, birth control options, and resources to maintain a healthy reproductive system.

Services provided include prescription pick-up (these are delivered from Freeman daily), diabetes education and support, durable medical equipment (i.e. canes and walkers, bathroom equipment, orthopedic supplies, nebulizers, etc.), immunizations, long-term pharmacy, Medicare open enrollment, and a medication disposal site. Accepts UPS drop off packages for free. Customers can use the My Community Pharmacy to refill medications, set medication reminders, and track refill status.

Clinic locations offer family care to Sioux Falls and the surrounding area. Provides a variety of services for family and primary care (including flu shots) as well as prenatal care and OB/GYN. Other health services include yearly checkups, treatment of minor illnesses, and management of chronic conditions.

Monument Health Spearfish Hospital offers extensive patient services centralized at one location which includes both the hospital and Spearfish Monument Medical Clinic. Services include emergency care: 24 hours a day / 7 days a week, diabetes care, heart & vascular care, home care, hospice, labor & delivery, laboratory services, medical imaging, OB/GYN, physical therapy & rehabilitation, prenatal care, surgery, swing-bed program, telemedicine, and serves as a medication disposal site.

An intensive, outpatient, 12-step recovery-based center for alcohol and drugs. Services are provided by certified chemical dependency counselors including assessments - by appointment, walk-in or virtual, day and evening treatment programs, adolescent programs, 12 hour DUI class, Intensive Methamphetamine Treatment (IMT) offered with state approval only, and a Recovery Maintenance Group. This office is located close to the SAM (Sioux Area Metro) Orange bus route.

4-week class for parents with children ages birth - 3 years old. Parents will learn about topics such as social-emotional growth, early brain development, temperament, and guidance. This class is usually an online, virtual, class.

Recycles donated clothing, furniture, household goods, books, and other items by offering them for purchase. Proceeds benefit the community by offering individuals with barriers work training and employment opportunities.
