It provides Screenings / Assessments, Observation, De-escalation / Stabilization, and Referrals to appropriate services. Services provided by this office are a last resort. If eligibility criteria are met, assistance may include burial assistance, medical expense assistance, utility assistance, and rent assistance.

Items that are NOT accepted include: trash, regulated medical waste, sharps, syringes, thermometers, hazardous waste, aerosols, illicit drugs, or commercial waste.

Goes to child centers and screens children (age 2 - 7 primarily) for speech and language development. If children do not pass the screening, recommendations are made for appropriate action. Only those children whose guardians sign them up are screened.

Provides empowerment to families, caregivers, and people who directly impact the lives of children. Also provides parenting resources through New Baby in Home services, Getting to Know Baby Better resources, and parent navigation to support parents on the parenting journey.
